This seasonally changing canvas of natural, living beauty paints an oasis of peace and relaxation. A vast array of spectacular bird life, flying foxes, possums and the like provide constant movement within the city.

From the open playing fields of the Domain to the famous harbour views enjoyed from the steps of the Sydney Opera House, the colourful precincts of the Gardens and Domain are priceless. Within the Gardens, FREE guided walks leave the Palm Grove Centre daily at 10.30am. Paths run throughout the precincts providing good access for those people using wheelchairs. Dogs, bikes, skating or ball games are not permitted in the Gardens. Parking is provided. The Art Gallery of New South Wales and the stately Government House are located here. More information on these can be found on pages 26 and 29 respectively.
