Halfway along South Terrace, you will find a well-grassed, shady location that features a fully fenced toddler/junior play-park complete with sand pit, pipe feature and tunnels, teen skate ride and different sized swings. Multiple barbeques and picnic settings are alongside the play park. Plenty of open kick and play space is available in the surrounding Pulteney Grammar School sports area, with a football oval, soccer pitch and running/athletics track available for usage.
Across the playing fields, towards the Unley Road/Greenhill Road corner, are the newly completed Kurrangga Park B.M.X. tracks. Featuring three separate circuits for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders, this park offers speed, jumps and a degree of difficulty to suit all standards. From first time youngsters to professional riders to those in between, Kurragga Park caters for all. Lots of trails dissect the parklands and are provided for walking or riding. Although there are no paths, those of us using wheelchairs have good access. Dogs are allowed in the parklands on a lead but not in the playground. Parking is provided.
