This wide, open grass reserve alongside the Little Para River is a real treat for man’s best friend. Home to the Para Districts Dog Obedience Club, dogs are always welcome here on lead and between 6.30pm and 8.00am daily without.

The highlight here is a fully enclosed dog-friendly play park in which your dog may run free and unrestrained. Dogs will love exploring the smells and playing on the jumps, steps, tunnels, slippery dip and drinking trough with pergola. Shaded seating is provided for dog owners. A walking bridge across the river gives access from both sides of the reserve while a quick trip down the Little Para Walking Trail will lead to the Harry Bowey reserve. Here you will find playgrounds, sporting activities and barbeque needs. Those using wheelchairs have some unassisted access but it can be very awkward in parts. The gates to the car park are closed at sunset.
