On a piece of land near The Village shopping centre, the Golden Fields is still in the infancy of its creation.
However, it is already extremely well patronised due to what has already arisen with more to come. For now this is the Fields Skate Park. A brilliant bowl, jumps and tricks course with lots of ramps, rails, slopes, jumps and other options. Those who know, the riders, say that this skate park is “really sic” and they assure me that this means very, very good. Although Golden Fields is being reduced from its originally planned size barbeque, picnic settings, family gathering and peaceful and relaxing points are all in the coming pipeline.
